Virgil, Dante

souls for new bodies the fate ordained,

souls who drink Lethe waters

and long oblivion

In the beginning an inner spirit feeds skies

and lands, oceans, the shining moon and sun,

it s an expanding mind

that lights and blends all the earth

What is revealed through the universe

closed in just one room, is hidden in these depths

(Virgil, Aeneid VI; Dante, Paradise)
